Each caregiver signs in with their own PIN, and the duty log keeps who was on and for how long. Care Today puts the resident on one screen — doctor, emergency contact, allergies, conditions, diet and dining table — beside the medicines due today. Each medicine is entered with its strength and its times, or as needed; when a dose is due a reminder comes up, the caregiver taps TAKEN, and the time is written down — so whoever comes next can see it has already been given. Med History shows the last fourteen days, given and missed. Phone Alerts texts the people on the list, and if a text did not go out the app says so on every screen until someone puts it right. Meals are ordered from today’s menu with anything that does not suit the resident’s diet flagged, and the kitchen sees what to make by dish and what to deliver by table. The Daily Care Sheet prints the day for the next caregiver or the doctor. HEALTH keeps each resident’s readings — blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, oxygen and any others the home adds — taken on the rounds and signed with the caregiver on duty, beside what the resident says in their own words. Each resident’s limits are the ones their own doctor gives; a reading outside them is shown at once with who to call, and ROUNDS shows what is still to be taken today. The Visit Summary puts a resident’s readings, their own words and their medicines on one page for the doctor. It keeps the record and leaves the judgement to the doctor. Behind it sit the books — accounts, purchase orders, where the money goes, a proforma tax report and your own chart of accounts. One unit keeps the care of each resident in the house.
